Jack Born in Bayone Nj , Jack grew up in North Palinfield and Green Brook NJ. where he always had an affinity for music and excelled on every musical instrument he touched. Although the drums are his forte’, Jack also sings lead, plays guitar, piano and several wind instruments. Following his high school years, Jack graduated from Trenton State College (The College of N.J.) in 1988, earning a B.A. in Music Education with a concentration in Percussion. He later played with an assortment of professional musicians in the 80’s and 90’s including the musical groups the Tokens, Girl Talk, Crossroads, Tin Pan Alley, the Norm and Refuge.

Jack eventually decided to share his love for music and became a music teacher and band director.  He is currently the Music Director at Colts Neck High School, in Monmouth County, New Jersey where he has inspired students and impressed colleagues and audiences since 1998.  His leadership and direction have lead his students to be nominated for the best all student pit band in Monmouth County. He served a music director he director of the Colts Neck marching band, concert band, jazz ensemble, chorus and percussion ensemble. Mr. Maniaci ran yearly recitals each year featuring Colts Neck High School’s finest talent, showcasing everything from Bach to Rock!    He has also directed musicals including “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “God spell”, “Once upon a Mattress”, “Oklahoma”, “Grease”, “Hello Dolly”, “Bye, Bye Birdie”, and “Footloose”. He is now the teacher of music and theory at Manalapan High School in New Jersey. Jack has also played drums for great Jersey Shore Bands such as “Super Band” and “The Teachers”. He really loves jamming’ with The Mystics” because he grew up listening to classic rock and it’s in his blood!! He is extremely passionate about his drumming which has a very important thread in the classic rock tapestry, not to mention it’s just plain FUN playing with the "Mystics classic rock band"
